Number of UK visitors to Jamaica increases

While at the World Travel Market 2015 in London, Minister of Tourism and Entertainment Hon Dr Wykeham McNeill attended several meetings with key tourism partners.

He also discussed the developments in the country's tourism industry, while sharing projected growth in visitor arrivals from traditional and new destinations. Speaking specifically of the UK, he stated, "We've had two years of incredible growth from the UK.

Last year there was a 17.5 per cent increase and this year we are expecting the same trend. Out of all the Caribbean destinations, Jamaica has experienced the largest increase in UK tourists this year," said McNeill.
