Body found in St Ann still unidentified

The St Ann police are requesting the public's assistance following Thursday morning's find of an unidentified body along a section of the Hinds Town main road in St Ann.

Up to late yesterday, the police were not able to confirm the identity of the man. The body is of brown complexion, medium build and is about 6 feet 3 inches tall. The deceased reportedly sustained gunshot wounds.

According to reports, the body caught the attention of a vigilant motorist in the parish. Subsequently, the police were summoned. The scene was processed and the body removed to the morgue pending a post-mortem examination.
