Second man charged for murder of US missionaries
Charges have been laid against a second man in relation to the killing of two American missionaries in St Mary in April.
He is 25-year-old Dwight Henry, otherwise called 'Dougie' and 'Chino' of Wentworth, St Mary. Henry, who was named a person of interest in the murders, was taken into custody last Friday. He was subsequently questioned in the presence of his attorney and was formally charged with murder and illegal possession of a firearm yesterday.
Forty-eight-year-old Randy Hentzel, and Harold Nichols, 53, were found dead in Wentworth district in St Mary on April 30 and May 1, respectively.
The two were reportedly last seen alive when they left Tower Isle, St Mary, on motorcycles at about 8 a.m. on April 30.
Commissioner of Police Dr Carl Williams commended the team of investigators from the St Mary Division for their hard work and dedication in bringing these men to answer to this crime.
