Police probe fatal shooting near Cross Roads

The St Andrew Central police are now probing a fatal shooting which occurred in the Cross Roads area of St Andrew a short while ago.

Details reaching our news team are that loud explosions were heard about 9 p.m. on the main road leading to Up Park Camp.

Soon after, the police were summoned.

The identity of the deceased remains unknown.

The Corporate Communications Unit confirmed one fatality, and told THE STAR that more information would be provided soon.
