Gino Jennings to clash with local pastors - Clergyman who called some church women hoes to arrive later this month

Months after bashing church women who wear ankle chains, red lipstick, and fake hair, United States pastor Gino Jennings is scheduled to visit Jamaica.

Jennings is set to be on the island on May 26-27, and he is set to debate the Reverend Carla Dunbar and the Reverend Phyllis-Smith Seymour on the topic: Is it ok for women to dress with sexy clothing and make-up for church?

The clergyman is also set to face off with dancehall artiste Mr Vegas on a similar topic.

Jennifer Smith, a resident of Kingston, was among those who was irked by Jennings' statement a few months ago. She told The STAR that the topic is an interesting one, but she does not want to be around Jennings.

"I don't see why I would be in the same space with that man. He is arrogant and I don't know what he has against females. I do not agree with him disrespecting us the way he did. I do wear my wigs and own several red lipsticks. I don't see the reason why I would sit at any of his conference," she said.

Oscar Hamilton, another resident of Kingston, has not ruled out attending the events, which will be held at the YMCA in Kingston.

"If I am going, I would be there just to cheer the Reverend Dunbar and the other lady because from what I know about the book they call the Bible, women used to paint their faces. I'm sure King David's wife was attractive and like to wear make-up and thing. A bare hot gyal me know Solomon must have had cause him was a man of God, but a gallis."

In one of Jennings' sermons, which is aired on local television, he lashed out at high fashion females in the church.

"You so called Christian looking hoes, jumping in some church, flopping your ankle chains around. On the choir, breasts hanging out, lips all red, nails painted red, purple, blue, green, long like bird claws, all this fake hair, breasts implant, toe nails painted with little fake diamonds in it, your toes ain't richer. You're nothing but a prostitute."

He continued: "You're nothing but a singing hoe, a shouting hoe, an organ playing hoe, a choir director hoe. Preacher, if what I just said describes your wife, you are married to a hoe! A man that's a real man don't want his wife out in the street looking like a prostitute and you're a holy woman, or claim you are a Christian. Christian with skin tight pants showing the very shape of your birth canal."
