Women clash over damaged vehicle
A woman will have to stand trial after she allegedly spat in the face of another woman during an altercation about damage to a motor vehicle.
Charged with common assault is Andrene Campbell.
She pleaded not guilty when the matter was called up in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court last Friday.
The matter was again set for mention on June 15.
Parish Judge Chester Crooks told both the accused and the complainant not to contact or interfere with each other.
Before clearing the dock, the court also heard that Campbell was no stranger to the courtroom, after the judge asked her if it was the first time she was being charged with an offence.
She said: "No, Your Honour. I was charged in an assault matter with my son's father."
