During the back-to-school period, many parents often face anxiety and hardships as they aim to finance a good education for their children.

This is especially heightened for parents of children preparing to transition to a new school or sit major examinations.

The FLOW Foundation and TVJ recently partnered to assist promising students facing financial challenges. The entities provide them with well-needed supplies, including books, laptops and other special items that will help them achieve their full potential.

Maxie Department Store and Kingston Bookshop also joined in on the initiative to ensure that the kids received all the supplies needed to return to school.

Last Saturday, the students were whisked to Portmore for an all-day shopping trip, along with their parents.
