Clarendon man charged for ganja

Narcotics detectives have charged a businessman with drug offences, following a ganja seizure in Andrew Hill district, Frankfield, Clarendon, on Tuesday.
Lascelle Taylor, 57, businessman and farmer was charged with the offences of: possession of ganja; dealing in ganja; and using premises for the storage of ganja.
Reports are that about 6 a.m., during operations in the area, lawmen searched a premises and found three bags containing 28 pounds of ganja.
The illicit drug, which has an estimated street value of J$112, 000 was subsequently seized.
Taylor is scheduled to appear in the Clarendon Parish Court on Tuesday, February 26.
Investigations continue.
