Body of woman recovered in Glengoffe

Detectives assigned to the St. Catherine north police division, are probing the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman whose body was found in the Codjue River, Glengoffe, St. Catherine on Friday, August 14.

Dead is 40-year-old Marlene Palmer of Church Road, Linstead, St. Catherine.

Reports from the Linstead police are that about 2 p.m., passers-by stumbled upon the body and alerted them.

On their arrival, the body was seen lying face down in the water.

The scene was processed and the body removed to the morgue.
