Portland businessman charged with wife’s murder

Detectives assigned to the Major Investigation Division have charged 65-year-old businessman Everton McDonald, otherwise called ‘Beachy Stout’ or ‘Mr. Mack’ of Dolphin Court, Port Antonio, Portland with conspiracy to murder for the gruesome killing of his wife.

Beachy Stout's wife, 32-year-old Tonian Hamilton-McDonald, otherwise called ‘Sassy’, a businesswoman of Dolphin Court, Dolphin Bay in Portland, was found dead on Monday, July 20, with her throat slashed in a Toyota Axio motor car that was engulfed in flames.

Also charged are 30-year-old Astor Barnes otherwise called ‘Tiny’ of Epsom district, Annotto Bay, St. Mary and 56-year-old Denvalyn Minott, otherwise called ‘Bubble’, a fisherman of Ranch Hill, Portland.

The men were jointly charged with murder and conspiracy to murder following an intense investigation.

McDonald is also being investigated for the murder of his first wife and two other persons, including the wounding of a fourth victim.
