One more COVID death, 163 new cases

Jamaica on Saturday recorded one additional COVID-19 death, moving the tally to 89.

The deceased is a 69-year-old woman from St. Ann.

The country also recorded 163 new infections with ages ranging from 4 years to 94 years, increasing the overall figure to 6,017 cases with 4,153 of them being active.

Eighty-three of the new cases are men with the other seventy-six being females.

Meanwhile, 61 more persons have recovered, increasing the tally to 1,706
