Small business operators to get tax lessons
Small and medium-sized businesses operators are set to gain valuable insight from industry experts about finance, marketing, sales and ICT strategies that can grow their businesses at a webinar that has been organised by Flow Business Jamaica.
The event takes place tomorrow, under the theme, 'Finance 101 | Tax season is here, Are you ready?' Panellists will include tax attorney Debbie-Ann Gordon; Serika Sterling, managing director at Senior Accounting Services Limited; and Dwayne Walters, head of MSME & Partner Channels, Flow Business Jamaica.
The discussions will focus on evolving tax obligations and digital tools to succeed.
"Since the start of the pandemic, small businesses have been seeking ways to adapt by exploring alternate sales channels and implementing new technology solutions, some of which added complexity and made vital business functions, such as taxation, extremely challenging," Walters said.
"In this webinar, we'll help them to get a handle on evolving tax obligations. Additionally, we will share tools that will help small businesses to stand out by developing a presence, selling online, managing technical needs, and more. Small businesses won't want to miss out on this amazing opportunity," he added.
