I-Octane to release new album

Entertainer I-Octane says that his new album, titled Moods, is all about women.

"It's female-oriented. It's all about the women and all different types a moods me wah put dem inna. It's going to show off more of the dancehall side, the raunchy, intimate side of I-Octane," he said.

The entertainer said that the album is an ode to sexiness as his female fans did not bash him when his weight ballooned to more than 250 pounds.

"The reason why me really a do dis album and make it dedicated to the females is because of this whole weight loss transition," he said. Recently the artiste noted that he had lost about 90 pounds over a four-month span.

"After some self-analysis, me decide say me affi make a change. I was always disciplined, but me decide fi take things to the next level and just go hard. Mi start actively work out and change me diet inna November," he said. As for Moods, he said the project will highlight a variety of genres.

"We have all different types of genre on it, Afrobeat, reggaeton, R&B. Me just drop the lead single off the project called Diamond. I put 14 songs on it, and it's going to come out on the 29th of April for my birthday," he said.
