Parish Judge Jacqueline Wilcott has ordered a social enquiry report for a St Andrew man who pleaded guilty to shoplifting.

The man, Donald Miller, was brought before the court after he allegedly stole several food items from a convenience store at a gas station located on Old Hope Road last month.

He is accused of stealing five tins of sardines, a large pack of Lasco Food Drink, two pounds of sugar, a litre of cooking oil, and two tins of corned beef.

The items are valued at $3,500.

He has been ordered to return to court on June 10 for sentencing.
