Missing man found dead in hole

The Sandy Bay police in Hanover have commenced an investigation to determine how a man who went missing from his home in Cacoon Castle on Sunday night ended up floating lifelessly in a water hole in the community on Tuesday morning.

The deceased has been identified as 29-year-old Warren 'Crime' Hutchinson, a labourer. Reports by the police are that Hutchinson was last seen alive on Sunday night, while he and friends were at an illegal party in the community. When he was not seen or heard from on Monday, his relatives went in search of him.

They reported that his Toyota Mark X motor car was still parked outside his house, and his cell phone was heard ringing inside the locked-up house. Yesterday morning, a resident stumbled upon the body of a man, which was seen floating in a water hole, near the community cemetery.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, the scene was processed, and the body, which was later discovered to be that of Hutchinson, was transported to the morgue for a post-mortem.

One investigator told THE STAR that the body was partially decomposed.

"From all indications, we have not ruled out foul play, but we will have to wait on a post-mortem examination to determine how he really died," the officer stated. "We have commenced a full investigation into the incident, and from all indications the victim did not die under normal circumstances."
