Man charged for New Year’s murder
Twenty-one-year-old Owen Curtis, otherwise called 'Ardon', of Savannah Cross in Clarendon, was charged with murder following an incident in Knapdale, Brown's Town, St Ann, on New Year's Day.
Curtis has been charged with the murder of 37-year-old Everett Duncan, otherwise called 'Jeffery', an electrician of Knapdale. He has also been booked on charges of conspiracy to commit murder and misprision of felony.
Reports from the St Ann's Bay police are that about 12:30 p.m., Duncan was walking along the roadway with a woman when he was shot multiple times by a man, who then escaped in a waiting vehicle.
An investigation was carried out and Curtis arrested and charged following a question and answer session.
His court date is being finalised.
