Four men arrested for $2 million corned beef theft

Four men have been arrested and charged for allegedly stealing three pallets of corned beef valued at $2 million.

The corned beef was stolen from  a compound on Salt Pond Road, Spanish Town, St Catherine on Wednesday, January 5. 

Charged are:
• Twenty-six-year-old Richard Jarrett, receivables clerk
• Twenty-one-year-old Tahj-J Russell, loss prevention officer
• Thirty-year-old Tordel Henry, loss prevention officer of Westchester, Portmore, St. Catherine 
• Thirty-two-year-old Jermaine Johnson, security officer of Angel's Grove, Spanish Town, St. Catherine.

The men have been charged with simple larceny and conspiracy to simple larceny.

They are to appear before the St Catherine Parish Court on Wednesday, February 23.
