Sexologist recommends oral pleasure for pregnant wives
Certified clinical sexologist and family therapist Dr Sidney McGill says men in committed relationships should consider giving oral pleasure to their pregnant partners.
"I would advise men who are in committed long-term relationships, and their wives are pregnant but wants to have sex and can't have sex comfortably because of how advanced she is in the pregnancy, that cunnilingus is a favoured practical way of pleasing her," McGill told THE WEEKEND STAR.
Cunnilingus refers to the stimulation of the female genitals using the tongue or lips.
According to McGill, this method is favourable because it reduces the chances of hurting the baby, even if it is unsexy.
"That is why you gonna do it cause you cyah hurt the child, is your head down deh suh, is not your whole body weight on her," he said.
"Yes, it's unsexy, but you know, there is something deeper than just the outward carnal kind of gratification that we have usually, there's that emotional, strong emotional, bond between the two and they want each to be happy."
The discussion around oral sex gathered new legs following the release of Shenseea's latest song, Lick, which features international artiste Megan Thee Stallion.
McGill said that the song has given men, who would otherwise be silent, an opportunity to publicly speak about their sexual proclivities.
"I think that what she does is that it gives them consent to publicly admit it, and not expect to be embarrassed by all the other men who are listening. It really gives them a sort of licence or freedom to speak without being ashamed or being humiliated by other men," McGill reasoned.
