Chicken shortage at KFC Jamaica

Fast food franchise KFC Jamaica says there will be a chicken shortage at select locations.

In a social media post, the company said its sole supplier, Jamaica Broilers is experiencing challenges in meeting demands.

In January, the Jamaican Broilers Group announced a 10 per cent rise in chicken prices.

KFC Jamaica also recently increased meal prices.

KFC says it is working as best as it can with Jamaica Broilers to rectify the issue.
