'SHOW LOVE BY GIVING UP THE CRIMINALS …. Cops urge citizens to share info on guns, gangs and gunmen

February 09, 2022

With Valentine's Day just around the corner, the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) has launched an appeal for persons to show love by giving up criminals.
"We are celebrating a month of love and we want you to celebrate with us, by loving your life, your family, your neighbours and your country by giving up wanted individuals," the JCF said in a social media post.
The police, in late January, listed more than 80 'most wanted' persons who they consider to be actively contributing to Jamaica's crime problem. At the time the police said that there were more than 200 wanted persons across the 19 police divisions in Jamaica.
Some of those wanted men have since been taken into police custody.
"Show your love for justice and safer communities by telling us the location of guns, gangs and gunmen," the JCF said.
"We have a special offer for you, through Crime Stop, for information leading to the arrest and charge of wanted individuals and the seizure of illegal guns," the police said.
