Local apostle Christene McLean is against persons coming to her church while wearing masks.

"You can wear your masks on the outside but I have a problem with people coming in the house of God with the mask. I have no problem with masks because I dust my house wearing one, but there is a spirit behind the mask. I used to wear masks before this disease came in, but my real problem is the spirit behind that is seeing how much you will obey the system of the 'beast'," McLean said. The controversial pastor has been vocal about her stance on COVID-19 mask-wearing protocols and reiterated that she is relying heavily on her Christian faith to bring her through the pandemic safely.

"I am a deliverance minister. God use me to deliver people from cancer, AIDS and people who are crippled. Last Thursday, we have people who were crippled and in wheelchair walk out. God has been using me mightily to do his work, so why wouldn't I trust him? I have no problem with people wearing their mask. The problem that I am having is in the church. The world does what the world does. So when we become a child of God, we must practise what we preach and we preach that God is our protector," she said. McLean also said that although she will never take the COVID-19 vaccine, she will not close her church door on anyone who does.

"I will never bow. Everything that is happening is an introduction of the mark of the beast so if it's an introduction, why should I take part in it? However, it is your choice and your body. I am not aware if any of my church members are vaccinated. They would still be welcome in my church if they are vaccinated because people will perish because of the lack of knowledge. The Lord told me that you will not be able to fly without being vaccinated and countries are slowly beginning to drop this rule," she said.

PERILOUS TIMES

McLean is also predicting perilous times are ahead and outlined this in her latest book, The Man, The Serpent/Dragon, The Beast 666, which she said was inspired by God.

"During one of my angelic experiences in last year, he said I must write a book. He said I should lock down for seven days in fasting and prayer without food and water and go before him. He said I should write a book with the seven days and that's what I did," she said. "Great disaster, catastrophe, great earthquake and tsunamis and so many other things will take place among us. All of these things have to take place before the coming of the rapture."
