Jahshii fined $50,000 for curfew breach
Dancehall artist Mlueki Clarke, otherwise called Jahshii, was fined for breaching national curfew measures under the Disaster Risk Management Act when he appeared before the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court today.
It is reported that Clarke, along with others, were travelling in motor vehicles along Red Hills Road at about 3:45 a.m., when they were signalled by the police to stop.
The men complied and told the police they were coming from a party in Brook Valley, St Andrew.
Senior Parish Judge Lori-Ann Cole-Montague imposed the fine of $50,000 or the alternative of six months imprisonment.
