Manchester man caught on camera breaking into shop

Twenty-five-year-old Jevaun Solan of Little Portmore, Manchester was arrested and charged after closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage showed him breaking into a shop in the community.

The incident occurred on Saturday.

Reports from the police say a businesswoman securely locked her mini-mart and left. She later discovered her shop broken into and an undetermined amount of cash stolen.

A review of the CCTV footage showed Solan breaking into the shop and stealing the cash.

He was subsequently arrested and charged with Shop Breaking and Larceny.

Solan’s court date is being arranged.
