Lonely wife begs cheating husband to come home
Daisy* has not seen her husband, Roy*, since January. But it is not the case that he is missing.
Roy, according to Daisy, has walked out of their relationship and is now in the arms of a younger woman.
The 58-year-old Daisy feels gutted by the situation. She said that she and Roy were together for 35 years, the last seven of which were as a married couple. The relationship, she said, was rock solid, and that she dedicated herself to ensuring that her husband was well taken care of.
The despondent wife told THE STAR that her 50-year-old husband walked out on her shortly after she nursed him back to good health.
"He was in accident ... He was cutting a tree, and when him cut di limb it swing back and lick him off, and him come down head way. He was admitted to the University Hospital (of the West Indies) fi how much months. Him did have in tubes all over him body, and deh pon oxygen. I was there wid dat man ... deh deh wid him until him get better and everything," Daisy said.
However, shortly after he recovered, Roy reportedly landed a new job and that was when he developed gazing eyes. According to Daisy, her husband met a woman whom she said that he impregnated.
"Him seh di girl pregnant for him. Him sit before me, him video chat di girl, him do everything in front me fi di girl, everything! Him hurt my feelings fi dat girl, him discriminate me, tell me bad things, talk bad about me, everything you can think bout," Daisy claimed.
ATTEMPTS PROVED FUTILE
She said that she has not seen her husband since January, and all her attempts to talk about their current situation have been futile.
"Him nah maintain me. Him reject mi call, nothing at all. Him leave me yah fi how much months that I walk upon street, stressed. Mi cyan even tell you di amount a things. I wasn't looking this from Roy. I never know that Roy could hurt me suh," Daisy said.
"Juss chu I speak to him about the girl. Cause we a married couple and mi seh to him seh you caah come inna the house which part mi deh and a video call her, and a chat to har same place when mi siddung."
Roy, however, denies that this was ever the case. He told THE STAR that he had endured endless nagging about the other woman. He said that he was unfairly accused of being involved with her, but his wife got so overbearing he decided that he would sleep with the new woman at work.
"Me seh me naah play nuh game, enuh. Mi nah get nuh bad name and nah play nuh game so I did go and play di game. Cah she tell me seh me and di woman outta road deh, so I did go play di game," Roy said.
He said that he has no regrets leaving his wife, and stressed that although she cared for him while he was ill, she was not the only one who made sacrifices in the relationship.
"A nuff tings me do fi she and har pickney dem before this happen to me, a nuff things me do fi dem," he said.
Daisy, however, is hoping to save her marriage. She wants Roy to come home.
"We did live good. Him nuh left me guh nuh weh, and me nuh left him guh nuh weh. So I would take him back, yes, because mi make a vow," she said.
Roy, however, is not so keen on that idea.
"Only thing me a guh for a me clothes. Mi nuh waah get back together wid she cause if me get back wid she a death a guh gwaan, and me nuh waah dat happen. I doe wah nothing fi do wid har," he said, adding that he has left his wife in the matrimonial home for her to enjoy its use and comfort.
