Two charged in Manchester murder case
Two men have been charged with the murder of a 50-year-old man in Chudleigh, Christiana, in Manchester on June 26.
The deceased has been identified as Kenyiata Harris of West Green Crescent in St James and the US state of New Jersey. Reports are that about 5:15 a.m., a security guard who was patrolling a premises stumbled upon a body and summoned the police. Upon their arrival, the body was seen lying on its side with wounds to the face and body. The scene was processed and the body was removed to the morgue pending a post mortem. The body was later identified as Harris.
Following investigations, Christopher Hutchinson, otherwise called 'Indian', and Tony McPherson, both age 21 and both from Chudleigh, were arrested and charged for murder within days of the incident after a series of investigative activities, including interviews and an identification parade. Their court dates are being finalised.
