Alleged wife killer remanded until March 31

March 24, 2023

Peter Walters, a Tractor operator from St Catherine, was further remanded until March 31 when he appeared before the St Catherine Parish Court earlier today.

Walters was taken into police custody last year after he allegedly stabbed  his wife to death during an altercation in August.

It is reported that about 2:00 a.m. on August 26, 2022, the accused went to his home in Berkshire Hall District, St Catherine which he occupied at the time with his wife Nikeisha DaCosta-Walters.

It is alleged that sometime after getting home, the couple got into disagreement during which Peter used a knife to stab his wife more than 20 times.

Walters then left the victim and drove himself to the Linstead police station where he was taken into custody.

He was subsequently charged with murder on completion of the investigation.
