13-y-o shot, injured during Manchester robbery attempt

A 13-year-old girl was shot and injured during an attempted robbery in Porus, Manchester the police have confirmed. 

It is reported that at about 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, a man who operates a motorbike taxi in the area was attacked by a pillion on a bike that rode ahead of him as he was plying his route.

It is further reported that the taxi operator was instructed to stop but refused.

The attackers then held on to the mother and her 13 - year-old daughter who were travelling on the bike, and opened gun fire hitting the teen.

She was rushed to the hospital where she is currently  receiving  treatment.

The police remain on the hunt for the attackers  who fled the scene.
