On Saturday, amid the smell of burning tyres and the revs of motorcycle engines, bikers and bike enthusiasts alike gathered under the Kingston sun to witness the Jamaica Stunt Fest.

The event, which was held at the National Stadium in St Andrew, boasted cyclists and bikers from both local and international circles.

Organiser Marlon Brown told THE STAR that the aim was to create a safe space for stunters as well as to diversify the type of entertainment available to families.

"This is a forum for stunt enthusiasts and for stunters as well. We put this on for kids to have a different vibe and for families to have a different vibe, not just dancehall music and bouncy houses," Brown said.

Some of the stunters included riders from the Daylight Camp, Stunt City Riders and Bike Life.
