St Catherine businessman killed in hardware

The Spanish Town Police have launched an investigation into the shooting death of a businessman in the community of Crescent in the parish on Wednesday afternoon. 

He has been identified as Simeon George Ellis, 53-year-old of Seaview Crescent Old Harbour Glades, St Catherine.

According to reports, residents heard explosions coming from the hardware along Walks Road in the community, and alerted the police. 

Upon arrival, cops discovered the man lying on the ground in blood.

No motive have been established.
