‘Female gallis’ causing distress for residents, thugs
THE WEEKEND STAR has been reliably informed that a Kingston community was in turmoil following news that a group of females were courting other women in the area, much to the displeasure of the men and several concerned parents.
The situation has reportedly become so tense that it required the intervention of the police, who have since held several 'peace talks' with residents in order to squash the issue.
However, the determined set of 'female gallis' have not relented, and are allegedly in conflict with a group of male thugs in the area, as well as with some women who are in their sights.
"We had to step in a few months ago because the girls dem and the men are having issues. The girls dem a tek weh di girls dem so di man dem no really have no wul heap a woman to turn to," said a cop, whose identity is being withheld.
The lawman also described the situation as "very tense" and said that he was hoping the interventions would help to restore peace within the area.
"We are not sure if our intervention will be making a lasting difference but we are not having the sort of conflicts that we were having earlier. But we know it is tense, some of the residents were upset saying that they don't want their children to be mixed up with some of the girls," the police officer said.
