Man charged with uncle’s murder

A 32-year-old Clarendon man has been charged for the murder of his uncle in Darlow district, Mocho, last November.
The accused man has been identified as James Clair, also of Darlow.
According to the Corporate Communications Unit of the Jamaica Constabulary Force, the now deceased, 46-year-old Douglas Clair, was behaving boisterously, making death threats and wielding his machete at residents in the community. The police said that he was pounced upon by several residents, who inflicted multiple stab and chop wounds to him.
Clair was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Following intense investigations, his nephew was arrested on Friday, and charged with murder.
