Law student shot dead in St James

Andrea Hanson, a law student from the Retirement community in St James, was shot and killed at a car wash in Tucker in the parish on Wednesday night, 

It is reported that about 7:30 p.m., Hanson, 35, was seated at the car wash which she and her boyfriend owns, along the Tucker main road.

It is further reported that a motor vehicle drove up and two men armed with handguns alighted and ran over to Hanson.

The men opened fire hitting Hanson who ran inside her vehicle, but was chased by the men.

She was shot multiple times inside the vehicle.

The gunmen escaped in the waiting motor car, followed by which the police were summoned and upon arrival Hanson was rushed to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
