Oberlin High student injured in stabbing
An 18-year-old Oberlin High student had to be rushed to hospital on Friday, after he was stabbed by another student during an altercation in the Lawrence Tavern square in St Andrew.
The police are searching for another student.
The STAR understands the injured student was rushed to the nearby Lawrence Tavern Health Centre but was referred to hospital.
He was stabbed in the region of his back around 2:40 p.m.
Violence in school continues to show its ugly head following yesterday's stabbing of a Cumberland High School male student.
He is still hospitalised.
Investigations into both incidents are ongoing.
