St Catherine man pleads guilty to rape charges

Gregory McLean, a 32-year-old labourer from Linstead in St Catherine, pleaded guilty to rape charges when he appeared before the parish circuit court on Monday. 

He was accused of raping a senior citizen in June last year.

A report was made to the Linstead police and McLean was arrested following investigations. He was charged with rape after a question and answer session.

He is to be sentenced on September 26,2023.
