Man allegedly threatens cops with fork
Police responding to a disturbance at a restaurant along Mannings Hill Road in St Andrew earlier this month, were allegedly attacked by a man with a fork in his hand, who threatened to harm the officers.
It was shared in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court that on June 3 at 5:10 p.m., police were responding to a call of distress, when Nicholas Graham was accused of threatening another man at a restaurant. Upon the arrival of the police, Graham started behaving in a boisterous manner and said to the complainant, "Yuh did tell di police dem say yuh did tief off the tyre dem offa me car."
He then told the police, "Unnu think me fraid a unnu b********t, me a go run for some a my police friend dem. Me nuh fraid a unnu."
It is alleged that as the police tried to apprehend Graham, he pointed a fork in the officers' faces, and said, "Yuh think me fraid a yuh p*******."
Graham contended that he did nothing to the police officers, however, he admitted to having a fork in his hand.
"Well Mr Graham, based on what you said, you will need a lawyer's assistance," presiding Judge Venise Blackstock-Murray indicated to the accused.
The matter was adjourned until September 5 for Graham to retain legal representation.
