Jashii's entourage attacked in early morning shooting

A convoy transporting dancehall artiste Jashii and his entourage was attacked in a brazen Friday morning shooting along Constant Spring Road in St Andrew, the police have confirmed. 

While the 'Born Fighter' deejay was unharmed, the STAR understands members of his crew may have been injured in the incident.

The shooting occurred in the vicinity of the Ministry of Justice and Club Mecca, where a birthday party was hosted for Jashii last night. 

It is reported that he and his convoy were in the process of leaving Club Mecca following the end of the event when they came under attack.

Investigators say a barrage of spent casing littered the scene.
