Two shot, one fatally at wake in Hanover

Nineteen-year-old Chadwick Wright, a resident from Chester Castle in Hanover, was shot and killed when gunmen invaded a nine night being held at a home in his community. 

Another man was also shot and injured in the ordeal. He was transported to a hospital in critical condition for treatment. 

It is reported that about 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, Wright was among persons at a the nine night when they were ambushed by a group of men armed with guns.

The men opened fire hitting Wright and the other man before making their escape.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, both victims were rushed to hospital where Wright was pronounced dead.

Investigations are under way.
