Unidentified body found in St Ann home

The St Ann police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the body of a man that was found dead in a house along Main Street, Ocho Rios on Sunday.

The body is of dark complexion, medium build and appears to be in its seventies. It was clad in a dark blue shirt and black and white underwear.

According to the Ocho Rios police, about 9:04 p.m. a citizen stumbled upon the body and alerted the police.

On their arrival the body was seeing lying on its side in the house with multiple wounds to the head.

The scene was processed and it was removed to the morgue pending a post mortem examination.

Anyone with information that can assist the police in identifying the body is asked to contact the Ocho Rios Police at 876-979-8452, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
