Longstanding dispute leaves two dead in St Ann
Police sources have indicated that a shooting in Priory, St Ann which left two men dead on Saturday, is tied to an incident dating back to the heights of the COVID-19 pandemic.
It is reported that a group of men were cooking food on premises near the main road, when gunmen approached them on foot and opened gunfire, hitting five men in the process.
The assailants then escaped in a waiting motorcar.
Checks revealed that 42-year-old Dwight Harrison reportedly died on the spot while 38-year-old Nicholas Dobson died at the St Ann’s Bay Hospital.
The police say the point of contention was also a double murder. They are pursuing strong leads stemming from this latest attack.
