Businessman drives himself to hospital after being shot

A St Catherine businessman who was shot and injured by masked men in the wee hours of Tuesday morning, reportedly drove himself to the hospital for treatment. 

He was attacked alongside two of his employees while disposing of garbage sometime after 12:00 a.m. 

It is reported that the gunmen, who were on a motorcycle, pulled up on their victims and brandished their weapons. 

The businessman and his employees ran off and attempted to board their Toyota Hiace motor vehicle.

The hoodlums fired several shots as the men tried to escape, hitting the businessman in his back.

An investigation has being launched by the Spanish Town Police.
