Dancehall artiste Tifa has embraced the attention she has garnered following the circulation of photos from a recent photoshoot in which parts of her lower anatomy were inadvertently exposed.

The Come Offa Me Name singer said that she is unbothered by the chatter and discussions following the release of the images.

"I was on a set taking pictures and doing what I normally do. I had a slip-up, it happens, we are all humans. This type of attention is not new to me. I'm a dancehall superstar and public figure, sometimes it's hot, sometimes it's cold. I honestly have no feelings. The ones that support me know what time it is and the ones that don't? I don't cater for them," she said.

She revealed that she wanted to be expressive on the shoot and did not want to restrict her creativity and flexibility, which motivated her to display different poses.

"The art direction for the shoot was basically 'WoW' factor. So me, being the artistic and creative person that I am, I started exploring different extensions with my body, my feet, my legs. I'm a trained dancer also aside from singing and acting, so most naturally I express differently," she said.

"I also have double joints, so I love putting my body into different positions. I wasn't going to waste the photoshoot and upcoming amazing projects doing the seven Instagram 'baddie poses'. I've always been different, even without trying, and that's never going to change," she added.

Tifa held nothing back as she claimed that she has an idea of where the majority of the negativity has been coming from.

"All I know is, despite whatever, my bookings have gone up, more people are reaching out for shows and the outpouring of support has been incredible. My followers have gone up, my insights have gone up, life is good," she said.

At the same time, she emphasised that she will not allow any criticism or controversy that emanated from the mishap to distract her from her artistic plans this year.

"I have plans to do as I've been doing since 2023 into 2024. I will continue to promote my music, continue to do my shows and keep it moving... . Crazy songs and videos are about to drop as well as other major announcements. I'm excited! SAY YES, produced by Kemar McGregor, coming soon," she shared, adding that some are making a bigger deal of the situation than there really is.

"Life goes on, the work continues! A wah do D.E.M.?," she said with a laugh, paying homage to one of her earlier hits and slangs.
