Two arrested following drug seizure in St Thomas

Detectives assigned to the Narcotics Division are probing the seizure of more than J$12 million worth of ganja and US$94,200 worth of cocaine on Saturday in St Thomas.

The police say the drugs were seized at Windy Way in Blue Mahoe.

The police say lawmen were conducting operations in the area when a shed was searched.

The ganja weighing 1,229 kilogrammes and 31.4 kilogrammes of cocaine were found inside.

Two men were taken into custody.
