Female student stabbed to death in Manchester

A female student was today fatally stabbed allegedly by a male schoolmate during a reported altercation on the grounds of the Catholic College of Mandeville in Williamsfield, Manchester.

The unidentified student is from the Knockpatrick area.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are not clear at this time.

The male student is in custody at the Williamsfield Police Station.

The police say investigations are ongoing.
