Woman believed to be a sex worker shot and killed in Trelawny

An unidentified woman was found murdered along Duke Street in Falmouth, Trelawny this morning.

Deputy Superintendent Winston Milton told The Star, "residents heard gunshots in the morning and called the police. When the police arrived the body of a woman was found on the ground in blood with gunshot wounds."

The police believes the victim was a sex worker.

"The police have been focusing on Seaboard Street, the usual place where sex workers gather so they have moved to other areas to apply their trade."

Investigation is still ongoing.
