Man shot dead in Linstead night club

The St Catherine police are investigating the death of a 27-year-old man who was shot and killed in the Linstead town centre yesterday.

The deceased has been identified as Kamal Taffe, a labourer of Commodore district.

Reports are that about 6:30 p.m., Taffe was at a sports bar and night club on Gillette Street, when armed men wearing masks pulled their guns and shot him repeatedly.

The police report that they were called and upon their arrival he was found on his back with gunshot wounds.

Taffe was assisted to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
