Shooting leaves woman dead and six-year-old boy in critical condition

The St Catherine North police are investigating a shooting that left a woman dead and a six-year-old boy in critical condition this morning.

Police say the incident took place at the woman's home in Commodore, Linstead. The child is hospitalised in serious but stable condition.

Acting Senior Supt Hopeton Nicholson says while no motive has been established, two persons of interest Glendon 'Bull' Amos and another man known as 'Six' are being sought.

This marks the second killing of a woman in the same lane since May.
