Six-year-old boy drowns in Hope River

The Bayshore Park community in St Andrew is mourning the death of a six-year-old boy who drowned in the Hope River yesterday.

Reports are that the incident happened about 9:45 a.m., when the boy fell into a hole filled with water.

This caused him to struggle and drown before help could arrive. 

He was pronounced dead at the Kingston Public Hospital.
