The three men who are accused of murdering Lanz Hutchinson, 34, a security guard from Terminal Road, were further remanded when they appeared today in the St Catherine Parish Court.

The accused are Sheldon Brown, also called 'Twelve'; 20-year-old Gregory Henry, otherwise called 'Baba Roots'; and 21-year-old Jahmore Campbell, alias 'Plata Pus', a fisherman. They are all from St Catherine.

They are charged with murder, possession of a prohibited weapon, unauthorised possession of ammunition and being part of or participating in a serious offence by a criminal organisation.

Senior Parish Court Judge Yvette Wentworth-Miller postponed the matter until November 18 after the court was told that the post-mortem certificate was still outstanding.

The police reported that on October 7, 2023 about 8:20 p.m., Hutchinson was at home with family when men armed with guns attacked them.

Hutchinson and a family member were injured and taken to hospital, but Hutchinson died.

A police investigation was conducted and the three men were apprehended.
