Bystander shot during robbery in Spanish Town

The Catherine North police are investigating an incident where a man was shot as gunmen robbed a business place in Spanish Town last night.

The victim, who is admitted at the Spanish Town Hospital, is said to be a 26-year-old from Kingston.

The police report that about 9 o' clock gunmen carried out a robbery of an establishment located along Burke Road.

The gunmen opened fire and the man, who was a bystander, was hit. 

The police were called to the scene where the man was found with gunshot wounds.

He was taken to the hospital for his injuries.
