Decomposing body found at house fire in Negril

The Negril police in Westmoreland are investigating a case of a decomposing body found following a house fire earlier today.

Dead is 50-year-old Orville Rowe, a labourer of  Old School Road, Negril.

Reports are that about 12:30 a.m., firefighters and police responded to a house on fire in the area.

During a searched, Rowe's body was found on a bed on the first floor of the premises.

The body was removed for storage and a post-mortem examination.
